Morris Birnbaum, MD, PhD
Former Senior VP, Internal Medicine Research Unit, Pfizer
Morris Birnbaum has led academic research laboratories, holding faculty positions at Harvard Medical School, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Subsequently, he served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Scientific Officer of the Internal Medicine Research Unit at Pfizer Inc., which is responsible for the discovery and early clinical development of novel therapeutics for chronic metabolic diseases.
